Vinyl is susceptible to temperature changes in its ambient environment which will cause the vinyl flooring to expand and contract with normal hot and cold fluctuations.

I think the vinyl plank flooring was decent quality as it was quite a bit more expensive than the laminate i was looking at initially but maybe i could have bought even more expensive vinyl.
