Frigidaire stove door locked flashing.

My oven door won t close. There is a metal rod key 88 that connects the lock motor to the door latch key 18. Once the oven is locked the current time of day will appear in the display. I have a frigidaire oven.

The door lock light keeps blinking. My oven is un usable. The lock on my frigidaire self cleaning oven is stuck in the locked position my oven door is open. Wait a minute or two and then try to open it again.

Range oven door won t unlock. The oven door has been locked accidentally. Allow the cleaning cycle to run for about 60 seconds and then cancel it. Range or wall oven loc door flashes in the display.

Disconnect the power supply to the range before removing the rear panel. If it s still locked start an oven cleaning cycle. Push the clean button on the range s control panel for the self cleaning cycle while continuing to hold in the doorjamb switch. Program your frigidaire oven to self clean.

If loc door is flashing in the display of your range or wall oven and the self clean cycle has not been selected first check to make sure the control lockout feature was not engaged. It s locked with the door open and now won t close. If you remove the rod from the lock motor and then push or pull the rod the door latch will unlock the door. See image below note.

If that does not unlock the door run a short self clean cycle 1 2. Wait 10 seconds before completing the next step. To cancel the oven lock feature press off and hold for 6 seconds. Set the oven to self clean.

If there is food in the oven let the oven cool to room temperature and try to unlatch the door. Wait at least 20 seconds before you cancel the self clean setting on the oven. The lock light is blinking. If no food or utensils are in the oven start a self clean cycle then hit clear off after 60 seconds.

Consult your owner s manual for directions specific to your model. Press off and hold for 6 seconds. I have tried cancell trying to move the lock manually it won t move and unplugging from the wall. Report this by tracey galloway.

If you try to use your oven and find it locked press the clear or reset button to stop the oven and turn it off. Allow about 15 seconds for the oven door to lock. Again wait for at least another 20 seconds.
